Great Malvern Priory

Great Malvern Priory is one of the greater parish churches in the country and an active Anglican church with almost a thousand years of history. It was founded in 1085 and contains a fine collection of stained glass from the 15th century up to the 21st century, together with carved misericords from the 14th and 15th centuries and the largest collection of mediaeval floor and wall tiles. It also provides the venue for many concerts and other events.

**PLEASE NOTE as of January 2024 work is underway to level the nave floor. This is being done to enable the community to benefit from a far more safe and suitable event space.  While the work continues visitors are very welcome to the east end of the Priory (entry through the accessible entrance) where the Medieval stained glass, misericords and tiles can still be seen. Please check the Malvern Priory website for the latest details and updates on the work.**

N.B. Please check the Great Malvern Priory website for the weekly opening hours.
