Bluebell Retreat Glamping
We are nestled away in a secluded private location at the foot of the stunning Malvern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Our 3 visually attractive pods (suitable for 2 adults) peer out from within a woodland overlooking a meadow and pretty pond. Immerse yourself into nature, wake up to the sun rising over the field, birds chirping and relax.
The site is set within grounds of approximately 3 acres with a variety of resident wildlife including muntjac, pheasants, birds of prey, frogs and beautiful dragonflies. Resident chickens ‘Gerty & her gang’ live on the site too!
If you fancy a spot of peaceful coarse fishing, just next door are 6 beautiful fishing pools, with views over the Malvern Hills, along with a nature reserve and public right of way walks. For the more energetic, a walk into Malvern is possible (3.3 miles / 1 hour) or it is a short drive or taxi ride away.
Set away down a single track lane in rural Worcestershire, the pods are within a private meadow and woodland setting and are surrounded by countryside and farmland.
The site is also eco-friendly, with the main source being solar panels in the glamping meadow.
All our pods are equipped with luxury beds, one king (The Burrow) slightly set back from the others, one double (Conker Cabin) and also a twin (Sleepy Hollow) – so take your pick (duvet, fitted sheet and 1 pillow per person is included; any extra bedding feel free to bring along).
All fitted with super quiet fridges, kettle with 2 cups, along with a wall mirror, fan, electric heater, 3 electric points, mini dustpan and brush, quirky cupboard space for some clothing and an umbrella – hopefully never to be used! Not to mention your own private decked area, bistro seating for 2 with lovely views of the meadow and pond. Each pod is provided with its own BBQ (charcoal not included) and utensils, and the communal use of the firepit (wood provided) with various seating areas around the meadow. To the front of each pod there is a porch light and a flood light to the rear with additional sensor lighting along the woodland paths leading to the kitchen / washrooms operated by a remote control which each pod is provided with to illuminate the wood chipped pathways.
New for the 2022 season is Bluebell Retreat’s Shepherd Hut. Set within woodland it accommodates 2 adults in its luxury abode. The Shepherd Hut offers similar facilities with the addition of an oven/hob with grill, toaster and electric heater.
The kitchen / washroom lies within the woodland a short 1 minute walk with its ‘Hansel and Gretel’ attributes pleasing to the eye, peering through the trees. Here it offers 2 first class toilets and 2 beautifully stylish tiled showers within a quaint washroom area all equipped for you. You just need to bring your towels and toiletries.
The kitchen area is basic, providing a small washing up area with running hot and cold water (washing up liquid and cleaning pads included) microwave, toaster, additional communal fridge, variety of plates, cups and cutlery for 6 all accessible under the sink.
The kitchen and washroom has central heating throughout.
