We can now confirm the Great Malvern Christmas Market will be able to go ahead on Saturday 5 December 2020 10am-5pm.
The market, even though it will be on a smaller scale to the previously proposed event, will still have a huge selection of handcrafted arts and crafts to purchase from a variety of artists and craftspeople from around the local area. The market will take place in the grounds of Great Malvern Priory set beneath the Malvern Hills.
The market will be offering handcrafted, locally sourced produce, unique arts and crafts and visitors will have the chance to shop for the perfect Christmas gift from talented local artists, craftspeople, and local producers.
Whilst you’re in Malvern, make sure you take a tour around the independent shops to purchase more gifts for your family and friends.
We would love to welcome you all, but to help protect our residents: Please do not attend if you live or work in a Tier 3 location. Please do not attend (or leave the house), if you are ill, displaying symptoms of coronavirus, or have recently come into contact with someone who has coronavirus.
Malvern Hills District Council is working with a reputable market operator Boffy Markets, who has great reviews for Covid-19 safety measures so residents can rest assured that every step is being taken to help keep residents, shoppers and traders safe. We will also be working closely with Worcestershire Regulatory Services to ensure the markets take place in line with the latest government guidance.
Local company Boffy Markets host regular markets in Great Malvern, including the monthly Farmers’ Market and seasonal Arts and Food Markets which are all currently held in the Priory Grounds in Great Malvern. We aim to replicate these excellent market operations delivered by Boffy Markets in Tenbury Wells.
