The much-loved Great Malvern Farmers’ Market will return this month with a fresh new look.
The first market will take place from 9am to 2pm on Easter Saturday, 20 April, on Abbey Road and will continue every third Saturday of the month throughout the year. The Heritage Festival will also be taking place in the Priory Grounds with the sealed knot and other re-enactors bring history to life!
At the farmers’ market, visitors will still be able to buy a wide variety of quality, locally-sourced produce, as well as enjoy live music and hands-on activities on some weekends.
The market will also be transformed with brightly coloured stalls and banners designed by a local artist. We love the new look branding for Great Malvern Farmers Market, courtesy of The M Partnership, using beautiful veg illustrations by the talented Jennifer Chance at Jack In The Green Gallery – Jennifer Chance.
Great Malvern Farmers’ Market is being run by local family company Boffy Arts Markets who also run the popular Arts and Artisan Food markets in the Priory Grounds and play a major part in the Great Malvern Food Festival. Steve Boffy, the owner of Boffy Markets, wants to bring a sense of occasion and fun to the farmers’ market and hopes it will become a go-to destination, a place to meet friends, come and have lunch or be inspired to buy something to take away and cook at home.
The market is also being supported by Malvern Hills District Council and Three Counties Agricultural Society.
