Halloween falls in Half Term this year and many attractions in The Malverns are putting on Covid Safe activities and events for children and families to enjoy. Perhaps you and your family fancy a cinema trip during Half Term, or an outdoor Halloween trail or Spooky walk with ghost stories? Maybe you know some little monsters that enjoy crafty activities, or others that would enjoy exploring a decorated garden with glowing pumpkins and ghoulish animated characters.
Malvern Cinema: The Secret Garden (PG) Friday 23rd October – Saturday 31st October.

Eastnor Castle: Eastnor Halloween Trail Sunday 25th October – Sunday 1st November

Ralph Court Gardens: Spooky Halloween Monday 19th October – Sunday 1st November
The Garden will be transformed with glowing pumpkins, smoke effect, spooky sounds and and Halloween characters. Tickets: Adults £9, Children (3-16) £6, Family £28 ( 2 adults and up to 3 children). Booking is required. (www.ralphcourtgardens.co.uk)
Eastnor Pottery & The Flying Potter: Tuesday 27th & Wed 28th Oct: ‘CORE STRENGTH’ 1.5 hour sessions at 9.30am, 11.30am and 2pm
Make and paint your very own Super Hero Apple! £20 per person. Your creation will be fired, glazed and ready for collection from the Pottery one month later. P+P can be arranged at £5 per object. Witley Court & Gardens: Halloween at Witley Sat 24th Oct – Sun 1st Nov 10am-5pm
Follow a trail, solve creepy clues and listen to spooky stories. Fancy dress competition everyday. Normal admission price.
Malvern Cube: Fright Night on 28th Oct 4.30 – 7.30pm (youth event)
A youth event run by Malvern Cube Projects for children aged 10 and over, with Halloween fun, spooky snacks and a freaky film. Pre-booking essential. Full details on the Malvern Cube website.
Witley Spooky Woodland Walks: Thursday 29th October – Saturday 31st October 5.30pm, 6.30pm & 7.30pm
Join ghost hunting storytellers on a trip through the shadows of Witley Courts grounds. Please wear suitable clothes and shoes for outdoors. Advanced booking is essential. Suitable for ages 5-12. Adult £10 Child, 5-17yrs £8. Discount for members. (www.english-heritage.org.uk/witley)

Ghost Tours are taking place at Witley Court for those aged 16 and over. The tours are on 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st October at 7pm and 8.30pm. Join storytellers as they tell you tales of ghosts, supernatural sightings and the horror of the past. Sinister sounds have been heard and apparitions have been seen in the ruins of Witley Court and the grounds, will you be lucky enough to see something at night? Elmslie House are also having a Halloween event for adults. They are showing the classic 1922 silent horror film Nosfereatu (15) on Saturday 31st October at 8pm.
