The Malvern Hills Trust is encouraging local residents to renew their Malvern Hills parking passes

The 2019/20 (orange) residents’ parking passes for the Malvern Hills Trust car parks have now expired and those wishing to use the car parks will need to purchase a new pass for 2020/21 or pay and display.

Residents within the town of Malvern and the parishes of Colwall, Guarlford, Malvern Wells, Mathon and West Malvern who pay the levy to the Trust through their council tax bill are entitled to purchase concessionary parking passes for £5.70 each (maximum of three per household).

Although the MHT office remains closed to the public, the new passes can be purchased online or by post and further information on how to do this can be found on the Trust’s website. Please note that Malvern Tourist Information Centre (currently closed) is no longer an outlet for MHT parking passes.

In response to the closure of the Malvern Hills Trust’s car parks during the coronavirus lockdown, the expiry date of the orange passes had been extended from 31st March 2020 to 31st May 2020.

The new passes will be valid until 31st May 2021.

For those who are not eligible for the concessionary passes, Annual Passes are also available. Passes cost £38 and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. More information can be found on the Trust’s website.

All the income from the car parks and passes goes towards the conservation of the Malvern Hills and Commons.
