The Malvern Festival of Military History is back for 2019. Taking place between Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October at Malvern College, this is Britain’s only literary festival dedicated solely to military history. Fiction and non-Fiction – Agincourt to Afghanistan – On Land, at Sea and in the Air. There will be celebrated speakers and conversations with top historians and authors. Our book stall is the venue for signings and all the latest military history publications. There will also be exhibits and displays from military history societies. Join the largest gathering of military history writers in the country in the beautiful surroundings of the Malvern Hills  – Elgar Country’.

The highlight of an impressive lineup of speakers this year is veteran journalist and broadcaster Peter Snow and his wife Ann MacMillan, who will be presenting on ‘War Stories’. Additional sessions will look at the SAS in Italy in World War Two, Poland in 1939, The Battle of Britain, Douglas Haig and the First World War, D-Day, Britain’s war in Iraq and the secret campaigns against Napoleon. The Festival wraps up with a fascinating conversation with Sir Cedric Delves and Danny West who led D Squadron, 21 SAS in the Falklands War.
