Rise, plant based cafe

Molly (originally from Newcastle) + Amy (originally from Plymouth) fell in love with the hills and moved to the area back in March 2021.

They first met in Solihull whilst both working in a private gym. Amy, a reformer pilates instructor and yoga teacher. Molly, a personal trainer.

Their business Rise To Health ltd had humble beginnings during lockdown 1.0. Originally an online platform which offered group classes and 1-2-1 sessions via zoom, they soon expanded their profile with cooking sessions after Molly completed her professional chef diploma in Vegan GF cooking. As well as branching out to businesses offering well-being, nutrition and movement sessions via their “Workplace Wellness” workshops around the Solihull/Birmingham area.

Opening a cafe and studio has always been a dream of theirs, so when the little spot at 1 Edith Walk came available, they snapped it up!

What to expect at Rise Plant Kitchen + Movement Studio

Enjoy a fully plant based menu which utilises at least 80% organic, local and seasonal produce. Molly has created something which caters for all. With breakfast, lunch, sweet treats, takeaway items and many GF options available. Great coffee. Chilled vibes. Smiley staff members, who are keen to make some new acquaintances.

The movement studio will be opening Monday 7 February. Classes include yoga (5 different styles), pilates, HIIT, circuits, sports specific training. Personal training, private sessions and nutritional guidance will also be available. Classes are catered for all levels, genders, cultures and ages. Molly and Amy will be there to guide you through a movement practice that works for your body, most importantly – finding something you enjoy!
