Have you visited The Cottage in the Wood, Malvern, yet? Following a three-year refurbishment programme, the hotel has completed its transformation from Margaret Thatcher’s favourite hotel to chic destination, complete with a new outdoor terrace, perfect for soaking up the beguiling views across the Severn Valley.

The whole team at the hotel, from Alar (operations) to Xenie (F&B and expert mixologist), are delighted to be back at work doing what they love the most – making guests feel happy and uplifted and helping them to create memories.

Inside this gem of a hotel, the redesign mixes the property’s Georgian heritage – imagine calming colour palettes and antique furniture – with bold colour, attention-grabbing wallpaper and iconic works of art. Outside, you’ll find a new terrace seating area, where you can enjoy a refreshment whilst looking out at the outstanding views.

For summer tipples or autumn warmers, select a creative cocktail or mocktail, beers from the Friday Beer Company, or wines from the likes of local Astley Vineyard and further afield. Savour local flavours from head chef Mark Redwood, who applies his passion for modern British cuisine into cooking up innovative dishes, and who also makes his own sourdough on site.

Bring your office to The Cottage in the Wood and be inspired by the views, reunite with friends and family over dinner and drinks, and invigorate mind and body with yoga sessions streamed to your bedroom TV or walks through the natural playground of the Malvern Hills.
