Discover Christmas events across The Malverns this festive season. From late night shopping and sparkling pantomimes to festive crafts, traditional carols and Christmas parties there are stockings full of wonderful happenings this merry time of year.
Our local playhouses have pulled out all the stops for this year’s Christmas programming. At Malvern Theatres, on November 18, The King comes to town with a special festive edition of the hit production The Elvis Years at Christmas. This glittering show is two hours of rock’n’roll favourites including those nostalgic holiday tunes that Elvis loved to croon. From 14 December to 7 January the wonderful fairy-tale pantomime Cinderella will star Katie McGlynn from Coronation Street and Malverns favourite funny man Mark James as Buttons . The Regal in Tenbury Wells holds its annual pantomime from 15 – 31 December, this year it’s Aladdin.
There are markets and late-night shopping opportunities aplenty over November and December, make the most of the abundant local artists and makers in the area for your Christmas gifting this year. There’s Great Malvern Christmas Festival, Christmas in Upton, Tenbury Christmas Events and Frank Matthews Christmas Market, and a festive edition of the popular Great Malvern Farmers Market.
