Amelia Marriette grew up in Malvern and worked for the RSRE/DRA for 12 years, from 1982 to 1994.
She relocated to Austria in 2015 and will be returning to Malvern to give a book reading at the Coach House Theatre. Amelia will be reading from her book Walking into Alchemy: The Transformative Power of Nature.
She will also be talking about her next book, which is about her father Leonard Eason, who was at RAF Klagenfurt, about 45 minutes from where Amelia now lives in Austria. He was a professional artist who lived in Malvern and gave his daughter his war diaries and watercolours in 2014.
This is a free event, but booking is recommended – either online or by phone on 01684 892277.
