Event Description
In celebration of King Charles III’s coronation, The Cottage in the Wood is serving a wonderfully indulgent royal afternoon tea throughout the month of May.
Exuding royal elegance, guests will be served in the hotel’s 1919 Restaurant. The classic English afternoon tea promises a feast of delectable savoury treats such as delicate finger sandwiches and coronation chicken paired with freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam and a selection of exquisite classic cakes and pastries. To complement this special afternoon tea, the Cottage in the Wood has handpicked a selection of English sparkling wines. Guests can treat themselves to a glass of sparkling wine from Woodchester Vineyard or a bottle of award-winning English sparkling wine from Nyetimber.
Served from Monday to Saturday in May during lunchtime service, this is the perfect opportunity to come together with friends and family to enjoy a celebratory vibe combined with sumptuous food against the perfect backdrop overlooking the Malvern Hills and beyond to commemorate this historic occasion.
