An opportunity to hear one of Elgar’s last great captivating and surprising compositions played live by the Lumos Quartet, accompanied by a pianist, and interspersed with talks by Elgar expert, Richard Westwood-Brookes. Richard will give us a fascinating insight into the emotions and the perhaps unexpected life lived by Edward Elgar and how that translated into his later works.
