Event Description

As part of Malvern Museum’s lecture series, Paul Backhouse presents his research on Saxon and Norman Malvern. Paul has gathered his information from an extraordinary number of documents over the last decade or more and is able to shed a bright light on the early settlements that grew up in the district. He has published three books on Malvern’s history, with particular reference to Great Malvern, Leigh and Cowleigh, and this talk will take the audience back a little further to include the late Saxon period.

Admission is free for Friends of Malvern Museum or £3 for visitors.

Refreshments are served during the meeting for a small charge.
