Event Description

Gardens predominantly laid out in 1865, featuring three avenues of oak, cedar and lombardy poplar, within and around which are flowering shrubs and specimen trees. Meadows within the avenues feature, depending on the season, daffodils, fritillaries, bluebells, cowslips etc. Rhododendrons have recently been planted and there is a holly hedge enclosure with a 100m walk of peonies and irises, next to a crescent tunnel of pollarded limes.

Open 12 – 5pm on Sunday 22 May, with tea available. Admission costs £10 for adults and £4 for children.

Tickets can be booked in advance online or you can turn up and pay on the day.
