Discover how archaeology and genetics are joining forces to illuminate Ancient Britain, as Professor Alice Roberts shares stories from her bestselling books, Ancestors and Buried.

Professor Alice Roberts is an anatomist & anthropologist, author & broadcaster specialising in human anatomy and evolution, archaeology and history. In 2001, Alice made her television debut on Channel 4’s Time Team, after which she went on to write and present The Incredible Human Journey, Origins of Us and Ice Age Giants on BBC2. She is also the presenter of the long-running popular TV series Digging for Britain, which is now in its tenth series. Alice is passionate about public engagement with university research and teaching and has been a Professor of Public Engagement with Science at the University of Birmingham since 2012.
