Geology Around Alfrick and Suckley
5 miles; 5 hours
Starting on the Triassic New Red Sandstone rocks at Alfrick, the walk crosses the East Malvern Fault and goes up onto the Silurian rocks at Crews Hill. After following the ridge of the Suckley Hills, the walk returns through the Knapp and Papermill Reserve where the Leigh Brook has cut a deep valley through the line of the hills. Magnificent views across the Severn Valley and south to the Malvern Hills.
Bring drinks and a packed lunch.
