Walk No: MWF33
Symonds Yat Rock, Woods and River
4½ miles: allow 3 hours
Expansive views of Symonds Yat and the river Wye to rival the views from the rock itself. A hilly walk including a descent down to, and a climb up from the river, not far from Biblins Bridge, an iconic footbridge across the river. We follow an established footpath through a wonderful mosaic of trees and, if we are lucky, some late spring flowers.
Stout walking boots are recommended for all weathers, particularly if it has been raining, making the footpaths slippery.
Hot drinks, sandwiches, pasties and paninis available at lunch time at the Café.
Start: 10.00 am
Meet: at Symonds Yat Rock Café
