Event Description
Part of the Malvern Festival of Ideas
A talk by Tom Crawford, teaching and Outreach fellow in Mathematics.
The million-dollar maths equations are 7 maths problems that are seen as the most difficult in all of maths and thus have been assigned a $1-million prize for anyone that can help us to solve them. Tom will focus on the idea that to be able to solve these it will require a great deal of imagination and creativity as all previous attempts over the past 100+ years have failed.
