1944 – an enchanting, moving and heart-warming adventure. Three evacuee children are sent to the Yorkshire village of Oakworth. There to greet them on the station platform are Bobbie Waterbury (Jenny Agutter), her daughter Annie and grandson Thomas. With their help, the evacuees are soon settling into their new life in the countryside when the children discover an injured American serviceman.
