Event Description
Superb architecture, complemented by majestic trees, make this walk one of the most beautiful and intriguing walks, linking the town to the hills.
View the Priory (just from the outside) but later locate the 2 green men held within; weigh in with the remaining cedars, as well as a marvellous Holm oak and find the giant red one.
As we walk through the town, and fairly steeply up to St. Ann’s Well, we’ll find Victorian rural tree planting as carefully thought out as the town planting.
A gentler walk covering Marvellous trees takes place on Saturday 27th.
