Event Description

We start at Great Malvern Station with a guided tour around the station before setting off on the walk. We will be stopping from time to time to convey the history of the railway and science in and around Malvern.

The first stop will be at Malvern College, its grounds and its connection to science. Then on to Malvern Common, the Railway Tunnel Spring, the old Golf course and the ‘new’.

Finally, a look at the site of the old Midland Railway Line in the Telecommunications Research / Radar Research Establishments. We’ll take to the road again to walk back to station.
