Event Description
The walk explores Worcester’s canal and riverside and includes a 1½ hour visit to Diglis Island and the new Fish Pass on Diglis Weir. This is the best time in the year to see fish moving up river to their spawning grounds.
The visit to the island and fish pass takes 1½ hrs and is booked for 11am – 12.30pm.
Diglis Island and Fish Pass visit is free, but Canal and River Trust invite a donation.
The walk is rated Easy, but we will need to cross the lock gates and negotiate a spiral staircase down into the fish viewing area.
Please bring a drink with you. If a meal is needed, there are plenty of places to eat at the end of the walk.
