Event Description

Experience breath-taking views from the Malvern Hills whilst taking part in an organised charity walk to help raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice. Join us on Saturday 4 May for the Mayor’s Peaks Challenge 2024.

We offer two walks over the Malvern Hills, one long and one short as follows:

For those who like a challenge the “end to end” long walk of 18km (6-8 hours) takes you over the seventeen peaks of the Malvern Hills. Registration will be in Priory Park with coaches leaving at 8.30am to take walkers to the starting point on the Bromesberrow Estate

The short walk is 9km (3-5 hours) taking in the main section of the Malvern Hills and including the highest peak of the hills, The Worcestershire Beacon. Registration for this walk is in Priory Park from 10.15am and a shuttle bus will take walkers to the start at British Camp.

All entrants will receive an event T Shirt and will be presented with a finishers medal upon arriving back at Priory Park. Walkers are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends along, as well-behaved dogs are welcome and will be presented with a rosette at the finish.

Refreshments will be available in Priory Park from 8am, if you fancy a cuppa before starting on your epic challenge and when you arrive back in Priory Park.

Entrance fees this year include a £2 donation to Malvern Hills Trust to preserve and conserve the Malvern Hills, the remainder of the fees go directly to the charity St Richard’s Hospice, we hope that everyone can raise some sponsorship – every little bit helps!
