Event Description

On 27, 28 and 29 June 2025, we welcome you to our 38th Jazz Festival and to our lovely riverside town of Upton upon Severn. We have four events in one:

  • A ticketed high-quality programme of concerts featuring British Jazz Award winners
  • A full programme of free-to-enter gigs in pubs, clubs and cafes all in town plus the return of Music at the Museum
  • Our 7th Upton Jazz Fringe at the Swan Hotel with soul, ska, folk, shanties and maybe just a touch of jazz!
  • Our Upton Jazz Rising Stars will be at home in the Baptist Church where the Church Service will also take place

We invite you to gather Down by the Riverside at 11am on Saturday, with decorated umbrellas. There are prizes for young people and adults – kindly sponsored by Sian of the Violet Bookshop in Upton. Martin Allen will open the Festival and the Upton Primary School Rising Stars will sing.

We hope you will enjoy a weekend of jazz with tunes, a beat and a smile.
