DESCRIPTION:About the walk\nDiscover the rich heritage of one of England’s most charming spa towns\, famed for its invigorating Water Cure. \nJoin one of Malvern Civic Society’s volunteer guides to trace the town’s evolution\, from a 19th century spa destination\, to its role in World War II as an important centre for secret radar development. Along the way\, explore Victorian architecture\, Great Malvern Priory\, connections to composer Edward Elgar\, and sites celebrated through Malvern’s many blue plaques\, commemorating notable residents and visitors. \nWhether you’re a first-time visitor or a lifelong resident\, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for Malvern’s cultural and historical legacy. \nDates and times\nThe 90-minute tours operate every Saturday and Monday from April 2026 to October 2026\, starting at 10.30am from Malvern Tourist Information Centre on Church Street (contact: 01684 892289). \nAll walks are subject to guide availability. \nTickets\nThe cost is £7 for adults; 14 – 16 year olds go free. \nTickets are available online via TicketSource or at the Malvern Tourist Information Centre. If Ticketsource shows ‘sold out’\, more tickets may be available. \nPlease book in advance to avoid disappointment. Ten places are available on each walk: four are available to book through Malvern Tourist Information Centre either in person or on 01684 892289; the other six are available to book online at Ticketsource (small booking fee applies online). DESCRIPTION:Back for its 14th year\, right here at Eastnor Castle\, Firework Champions returns with four great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies face off with a 10-minute spectacular firework display choreographed to music followed by a breath-taking\, huge finale display. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are unlike any material used for fireworks available to the general public. They use category 4 fireworks\, which are only for professional use and the biggest available in the UK. \nAfter gazing at the illuminating fireworks and lasers\, watching all the teams battle for the Fireworks Champions title\, the audience has all the power in their hands (through their mobile phone) to decide the winner. How exciting! Texts will be charged at normal rates and a limit of one vote per number is in place.
