Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon of entertainment with live performances\, and local food and gift stalls\, as well as the opportunity to meet Peeler the Police Dog\, see Santa in his grotto and take part in the parade from Sunbeans at 5.30pm (lights switched on at 6pm). \nCome along for a day filled with festive cheer at the Great Malvern Christmas Market on the 30 November from 10am – 6pm\, offering seasonal treats and treasures in Great Malvern Priory Church grounds and the Lyttelton Rooms\, as well as activities in the Priory and carols with the Priory Choirs towards the end of the day at 5pm. SUMMARY:Exhibition: A World of Christmas
DESCRIPTION:“A World of Christmas” is an exhibition of nativity sets from around the world and is open daily between 2pm and 5pm from Saturday 30 November to Sunday 8 December 2024. \nThis annual exhibition features over three hundred nativities from nearly one hundred countries around the world and makes the perfect start to the season of Advent. Items on display illustrate the Christmas story using wood\, metal\, paper\, felt\, wool\, fabric\, and clay; carved from tropical nuts\, formed from recycled bullets and spark plugs\, folded from old magazines. The Holy Family appear in the likeness of the people who made them\, the attendant animals are indigenous to their area\, and many of the craftspeople who create them rely on their work being Fair Trade. \nIn addition to the exhibition\, there will be Christmas refreshments available\, plus green Christmas ideas for an eco-friendly\, sustainable Christmas.

DESCRIPTION:Visit Tenbury Wells this Christmas to see the amazing work of Hanah-Beth Bailey from Painted Fern Studio around the town whilst you shop. \nThe Tenbury Christmas Art Trail will run from 7 December 2024 until the New Year\, but there will still be much to see before then as the artworks take shape. Whilst some will not remain once the trail is over\, others will be kept on a more permanent basis for residents and visitors to enjoy. \nAt the time of writing\, Hanah-Beth has completed about 50 murals within a 5-mile radius of Tenbury Wells as well as schools and murals further afield such as Anchors Away soft play in Cleobury Mortimer and Exotic Zoo in Telford. Now setting up a first studio/shop in Tenbury\, The Painted Fern Studio\, Hanah-Beth will be teaching nature-based art workshops\, selling handmade art materials and homeware as well as teaching classes and making a creative hub within the town to support those using art and craft to build their own skills and businesses or to help maintain their mental health. \nSee the full list of artwork locations here

Would you like to meet him? \nThe Firs will be full of Christmas atmosphere with sparkly lights and Christmas trees throughout\, ready for you to be greeted by one of the elves who tell you all about your visit\, which will include: \n• Visiting Father Christmas in the idyllic cottage where you can tell him what’s on your Christmas list this year and he’ll have a present for you too.\n• Helping sort out Father Christmas’s letters and parcels in the sorting office ready to be delivered in time for Christmas.\n• Writing a letter to Father Christmas at the letter-writing station before placing it in the speedy delivery post box.\n• A stop at the craft workshop\, where you can create a Christmas decoration to take home.\n• Helping Father Christmas find his lost reindeer in the gardens.\n• The chance to take a seat and create a memory in Father Christmas’s sleigh. \nLittle Al’s Café will also be getting into the festive spirit and will be open from 10am – 4.30pm for hot drinks\, light lunches and seasonal treats. \nTickets are £15 per child with up to two accompanying adults. Please note you are booking the time you are seeing Father Christmas. \nTo allow you to be more flexible with your visit\, you are welcome to arrive on site from 10am – 4.30pm on the day of your booking to enjoy the festive activities or visit the café before you visit Father Christmas and can stay as long as you wish afterwards. \nBooking is essential for this special festive event (visit the website to see available times and book).

DESCRIPTION:Father Christmas will be at The Firs from the 13 – 16 December and 20 – 23 December 2024\, accompanied by some of his best elves. Would you like to meet him? \nThe Firs will be full of Christmas atmosphere with sparkly lights and Christmas trees throughout\, ready for you to be greeted by one of the elves who tell you all about your visit\, which will include: \n• Visiting Father Christmas in the idyllic cottage where you can tell him what’s on your Christmas list this year and he’ll have a present for you too.\n• Helping sort out Father Christmas’s letters and parcels in the sorting office ready to be delivered in time for Christmas.\n• Writing a letter to Father Christmas at the letter-writing station before placing it in the speedy delivery post box.\n• A stop at the craft workshop\, where you can create a Christmas decoration to take home.\n• Helping Father Christmas find his lost reindeer in the gardens.\n• The chance to take a seat and create a memory in Father Christmas’s sleigh. \nLittle Al’s Café will also be getting into the festive spirit and will be open from 10am – 4.30pm for hot drinks\, light lunches and seasonal treats. \nTickets are £15 per child with up to two accompanying adults. Please note you are booking the time you are seeing Father Christmas. \nTo allow you to be more flexible with your visit\, you are welcome to arrive on site from 10am – 4.30pm on the day of your booking to enjoy the festive activities or visit the café before you visit Father Christmas and can stay as long as you wish afterwards. \nBooking is essential for this special festive event (visit the website to see available times and book).
