DESCRIPTION:FEAST Theatre Festival opens your eyes to new and emerging theatrical performances from around the world. Curated by Malvern-based Reaction Theatre Makers\, FEAST returns for its ninth year in 2025\, with events taking place in venues across Malvern between 8 & 16 November. \nThe FEAST journey has taken theatre from Birmingham’s bold\, risk-taking scene to The Vaults\, Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe\, and Stockton International Riverside Festival. FEAST will now bring inspiration from these diverse places into this year’s event\, created to share with the Malvern community. \nAt its heart\, FEAST is for everyone. Much of its work is about creating opportunities with people who have learning differences – welcoming them not only as audiences but as artists and collaborators. Inspired by these influences and this commitment to inclusivity\, the Festival of Equality in Arts and Society through Theatre was created. \nHosted at the incredible Malvern Cube and now expanding into the town\, FEAST is about gathering together to share performance\, reflection\, laughter – and the possibility for change. \nTo see everything there is to look forward to at FEAST this year\, visit our blog page\, where you’ll find a chronological list of events.

SUMMARY:As The Snow Falls (FEAST)
DESCRIPTION:As the Snow Falls introduces us to Kenneth and Sam – two men from very different cultural backgrounds\, both abandoned by society in very different ways. Notwithstanding their differences\, they are ultimately brought together by shared grief and a love of music. \nThis powerful comedic drama examines the shifting social landscape and its impact on a frequently overlooked demographic. Through the lens of an ever-diminishing pub culture\, Kenneth and Sam’s unexpected connection arises from one man’s desperate search for meaning. \nThe play explores themes of cultural starvation\, male isolation\, suicide\, toxic masculinity\, and division through technology – ultimately questioning what happens when the arts are stripped away from the working class. \nThe play was written and is performed by Tom Messmer (DFL and America Ground The Musical) and Aidan McConville (A Single Man). \nBrightDog Theatre have proudly partnered with the men’s suicide prevention charity ANDYSMANCLUB to support people on the vital issues and themes explored in the play. \nPlease note this production contains strong language. \nTickets: £10 – available to book online at Ticketsource \nAge: 14s and under to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over
