The Malvern Water Music – Community Workshop takes place on Saturday 14 June\, from 2pm – 4pm\, at The Octagon Centre. Entry is free\, and everyone aged 12+ is warmly invited to join in. \nThis joyful\, inclusive event is commissioned by the Malvern Spa Association as part of a wider project celebrating the heritage and creative potential of Malvern’s famous waters. \nLed by Liz Dilnot Johnson – an award-winning composer and community music leader based in Malvern – the session offers fun and accessible creative activities for writers\, singers\, nature-lovers\, and anyone keen to try something different. Through sound\, movement\, and words\, participants will explore the bubbling springs and healing history of the local area – and turn that inspiration into something brand new. No experience is necessary – just curiosity and an open mind! \nThe workshop will contribute to the creation of a brand-new collaborative piece that will be performed at Malvern Theatres (Studio One) on Friday 4 July at 7pm. \n“I am so excited to be leading this creative session and to develop ideas together around bubbling springs and Malvern Water\,” says Liz. “Together we will create a new work that will be performed at the Malvern Theatre on July 4th.
