DESCRIPTION:The Colwall Players are well into rehearsal for their production of their panto Jack and the Beanstalk\, by Chris Jaeger\, which will be presented in the Colwall Village Hall from Thursday 15 February to Saturday 17 February 2024 at 7pm each evening\, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm. \nWe’re aiming for the panto to be good\, old-fashioned family fun\, with all the traditional panto elements\, including lots of audience participation. Oh\, yes it will! \nWe don’t want to give too much away\, but we’ll have a giant and his horrible henchmen\, some very small guards\, Jack and Jill (the hero and heroine)\, Dame Trott and her other son\, Simple Simon\, as many as three fairies\, villagers and a growing beanstalk – and\, last but by no means least\, Daisy the Dancing Cow. This is due to recent heavy rain preventing access to parking. \nMadresfield Court gardens will be open later in the year on Sunday 18 May 2024 for the National Garden Scheme. \nThere’s also the chance to visit the gardens before or after a guided tour of Madresfield Court. Tours run on selected dates from late April to late June 2024 and should be booked in advance. \nMadresfield Village Fete will also be taking place later in the year.

DESCRIPTION:Walk the parish boundary of Little Malvern Priory on Rogation Monday. \nThe walk will leave Little Malvern Priory at around 9.30am and the route will be approximately 5 miles\, including two or three stiles and some hilly terrain. Stout footwear is recommended. \nBring your own drink and packed lunch. \nThe route will be guided and the walk is expected to finish around 2pm. \nParticipants take part in this event at their own risk. \nWell behaved dogs are welcome.
