DESCRIPTION:This ultra-talented duo have been performing regularly in Welland since 2017. They are firm favourites in the village and their concerts are always memorable. \nRic Sanders is a brilliant fiddle player who has played with The Albion band\, Soft Machine and his own band\, the Ric Sanders Trio. However\, he is better known as being the ‘new boy’ of Fairport Convention\, which he joined in 1985. \nGuitarist Vo Fletcher teams up with Ric as they play anything from Roots\, to Jazz and Blues\, giving both the chance to have some great musical fun together. Like Ric\, Vo has enjoyed a long career in music\, playing with such artists as Nigel Kennedy and Dave Swarbrick\, as well as being a third of the aforementioned Ric Sanders Trio! \nDoors open 6.45pm. \nTickets: £15 – available online (booking fee applies) at Ticketsource

DESCRIPTION:For over a decade\, Sheelanagig have brought their array of foot-stomping folk tunes to audiences around the world. \nA quintet with a well-stocked armoury of stringed instruments – double bass\, fiddle\, guitar – as well as the rhythmic energy of flute and drums and a bagful of joint-jumping tunes\, these boys from the West Country create a real dynamic that characterises both their furious dance medleys and their interestingly arranged original pieces. \nThey have toured France\, Switzerland and Australia and remain a firm fixture on the UK festival circuit.
