DESCRIPTION:Written to celebrate the coronation of King George II\, and performed at every subsequent coronation\, Zadok the Priest and The King Shall Rejoice have made their mark on music history as some of the most powerful and evocative works to have been composed for such an occasion. \nComprising eighteen short movements for chorus and soloists\, the Te Deum is one of Handel’s most splendid works\, written to mark King George II’s triumphant return from the Battle of Dettingen in 1743. The concert also features the famous Fireworks Music\, written in 1749 to accompany the royal celebrations for the ending of the War of the Austrian succession.

DESCRIPTION:Five guys devoted to the music of Steely Dan play some of their favourite Walter Becker and Donald Fagen tracks\, including Rikki Don’t Lose That Number\, Kid Charlemagne\, My Old School\, Peg\, Bodhisattva\, Pretzel Logic and Reelin’ In The Years\, plus many more. \nThe band’s aim is to capture the spirit of one of the most sophisticated and inventive bands of the second half of the twentieth century and they believe they do it pretty well\, iconic solos and all.
