DESCRIPTION:The annual Great Malvern Food Festival is back for its 15th year. The festival will continue to take place in Priory Park from 5 – 6 July 2025 Please note\, this is event is FREE ENTRY. You’ll be in for a treat at this year’s food festival\, which is one of the only FREE food festivals in the region.  Munch your way through an ever-growing selection of locally sourced produce sold at a number of market stalls and additional street food vendors. Fantastic street entertainers will contribute to the festival atmosphere. DESCRIPTION:The theme for 2025 is all about your favourite film\, book or theatre characters! So whether you are aspiring to train dragons\, become the next Enola Holmes or are Superhero mad\, you are very welcome. \nWith a wide variety of fun activities taking place every day — like mask making\, face painting and prosthetics\, drama\, crafts and theatre skills — each session concludes with a film in the main auditorium\, enjoyed after a picnic lunch from our local suppliers. \nIdeal for children aged 7 – 11 and taking place from 21 – 24 July\, 28 – 31 July and 11 – 14 August\, The Regal Summer School includes a free lunch with every booking. Days can be booked individually\, so book as few or as many days as you like. \nSome funding is available for free places; otherwise\, the cost is £15 per day. SUMMARY:Conservation in Action: Labours of the Month
DESCRIPTION:Brockhampton manor house was constructed in 1425. The National Trust is marking the property’s milestone birthday with special events throughout 2025. \nAs part of these 600th birthday celebrations\, the conservation in action series has been inspired by the ‘labours of the month’\, which are illustrated in medieval calendars and depict the daily tasks of working people. \nOnce per month\, between 11.30am and 1pm on the dates below\, visitors who are interested in medieval history and the conservation of historical objects will have the opportunity to see the House and Collections team working on items from the Brockhampton collection: \n25 March: Farming equipment\n14 April: Ceramics\n22 May: Paintings\n25 June: Insects and conservation\n21 July: Horse brasses\n13 August: Old maps\n25 September: Floors\n6 October: Fruit picking ladders\n4 November: The Buttery\n29 December: Guns and traps \nBooking is not required for this free event (admission charges apply).
