DESCRIPTION:Winter Glow\, the biggest festive event in the Three Counties\, returns to the Malvern Showground for 2025 with its most affordable ticket offering yet. \nThere is a wide range of attractions for the whole family to enjoy\, including the region’s largest covered ice rink\, a spectacular 2km light trail with over 20 dazzling installations\, and personalised Santa’s Grotto experiences. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday 22 November 2025 from 10am – 6pm for a fun-packed day\, all building up to the annual Great Malvern Christmas Lights Switch On. \nEnjoy the winter wonderland-themed day in Great Malvern with live entertainment across the town\, local trader market in Abbey Road and in the library\, workshops\, and our regular visit from Father Christmas in his grotto at Great Malvern Library (open 10am – 4.30pm\, with last entry at 4pm). \nThe excitement builds until 5.30pm\, when the pantomime celebrities will be switching on the Christmas lights from Belle Vue Island following the parade up Church Street. Live entertainment will be taking place all afternoon on the BBC Hereford and Worcester Stage on Belle Vue Island\, so there there will be plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. \nThere are many fantastic independent shops in town to explore as part of your festive day out\, along with a mouth-watering range of eateries. \nPlus\, take a look at the Traditional Christmas Market in the Priory Grounds and the Artisan Craft Market in the Lyttelton Rooms. DESCRIPTION:Community Action Malvern is spreading festive cheer on Saturday 29 November 2025 by hosting a Christmas Coffee Morning and is inviting the local community to come and join in the celebrations. \nTaking place at the Malvern Vale Community Centre on Swinyard Road from 10am to 12pm\, everyone is invited to come and join the team for tea and cake. \nThere will also be an opportunity to do some Christmas shopping at the event\, as there will be a few stalls selling treats from fudge and sweets\, children’s books\, a Ukrainian craft table\, and Community Action Malvern cake stall. Plus\, Parkinson’s will be selling Christmas cards\, second-hand puzzles and books\, and there will be a WI crafts stall. \nIn addition to all the stalls available to browse\, there will also be a raffle where there will be two hampers\, vouchers for cinema\, local supermarkets and food retailers to be won\, as well as a chance to win a hot air balloon experience for two people with Virgin Balloon Flights\, which includes a 3–4-hour experience on a date that suits you. \nThere will also be a performance from the i-Sing Choir and of course no Christmas is complete without Santa Claus popping by. \nLauna Brooks\, CEO at Community Action Malvern & District\, commented: ‘While Christmas can be a magical time of the year\, for many it can be a very lonely time. As a charity\, we aim to reduce social isolation for older and disabled people in the Malvern community and create events where everyone can get involved and have some fun. \n‘We are really looking forward to celebrating Christmas with our community\, bringing people together so they can make friends and socialise and make some wonderful memories. \n‘We hope everyone can join us and we can bring some joy to the festive season! SUMMARY:Tenbury Mistletoe Festival & Santa Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Mistletoe Festival is back in Tenbury Wells\, the town considered to be the Mistletoe Capital of England. The event provides a fantastic free family day out (from 9.30am) and has been held on the first Saturday in December since 2005. \nThe festival includes crowning of the Mistletoe Queen\, a druids ceremony and a blessing of the mistletoe.  There will be storytelling\, drumming\, face-painting and free children’s activities in the library. \nThe entire town centre will be decorated with over 100 bunches of pre-lit mistletoe that will light up the town and add to the festive lights throughout the town centre. \nThe event also includes an indoor market and a pre-loved event to encourage visitors to both enjoy the festival and invest back into it\, supporting small businesses. \nHighlights of the day include: \n\nChristmas markets and entertainment\nChildren’s activities in the library until 3pm\nCrowning of the Mistletoe Queen at 12pm\nDruid ceremony on The Burgage at 4pm\n\nPlus\, the Santa Parade will start at 4.35pm as Santa and friends cross the Teme Bridge and make their way to arrive at the grotto at St Mary’s Church at 5pm. DESCRIPTION:Follow the illuminated pathways down to Croome Court and delight in the new twinkling installations along the way. \nOnce inside\, become immersed in the enchanting projections\, evocative sounds and charming stories of Rapturous Delight in the Long Gallery\, a special sensory experience created by digital arts\, music and theatre company Leo & Hyde. \nUseful information: \n– Gates open at 5pm\, with the first time slot starting at 5.30pm. Please arrive during your designated time slot. \n– Last entry at 8.30pm. Gates close at 10pm. \n– Booking is essential. Event ticket applies to all visitors\, including National Trust members. Under 3s are free\, however they still require an event ticket. \n– Croome will be closed from 4pm to 5pm while we set up for the evening sessions and all daytime visitors who wish to attend the evening event need to leave the property at 4pm and return during their 30-minute ticketed time slot. \n– This event features flashing lights\, strobe effects\, and loud music that may not be suitable for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy or sensitivities to intense sound.
