SUMMARY:Telling Stories\, Sharing Shadows with Fetch Theatre (FEAST)
DESCRIPTION:The Fetch launched Telling Stories Sharing Shadows November 2024 with over 70 participants from around Herefordshire including the Ukrainian community. Join them on Sunday 17 at FEAST and get creative. \nJoin The Fetch team and learn to make beautiful\, moving\, shadow puppets. At the end of the session help perform a traditional Ukrainian folktale\, The Mitten\, which will include your puppets. The event will be run by Ukrainian and British artists and features live music performed on the bandura\, a traditional Ukrainian folk instrument. Suitable for adults and children of all ages however\, children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult. \nThe Letter Press Project will be attending this Family Feast Event from 2pm with the very best pre-owned children’s books from the foremost authors and the finest illustrators. It unveils an aspect of a family history\, explores the surreal circumstances around a conflict building up and what goes into surviving it. Combining movement\, storytelling and poetry\, this profoundly personal story investigates how living through war has affected where Natasha is now. \nCreated and presented by an acclaimed team of international artists.
