SUMMARY:NT Live: All My Sons (Pre-Recorded Broadcast)
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a special screening of this West End production of All My Sons by Arthur Miller\, directed by Ivo Van Hove and designed by Jan Versweyveld. \nBryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths) star in a five-star\, highly acclaimed new staging of Arthur Miller’s classic play\, from visionary director Ivo Van Hove (A View from the Bridge). \nOne family\, the heart of the American dream. When the coming of war brings profits for Joe\, it comes at a price when his partner is charged with criminal manufacturing deals\, and his eldest son goes missing in action. But can peacetime deliver peace of mind\, or will Joe be confronted by the consequence of his actions? \nFilmed live in the West End\, Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You)\, Tom Glynn-Carney (House of the Dragon)\, and Hayley Squires (I\, Daniel Blake) also feature in this disturbingly prescient play.

SUMMARY:Malvern Pastel Artists
DESCRIPTION:Who are we?\nMalvern Pastel Artists is a new community art group starting in 2026 meeting fortnightly. We would like to welcome other local pastel artists to create in a relaxed social space. The group is not a tutored class. Open to all abilities\, beginners are welcome to join. There will be some beginner-friendly art materials available for those new to pastels. \nWhat do we mean by pastels?\nWhat we love about pastels is that it’s drawing and painting combined in one – with intense colours closer to the raw pigment than other media. We define pastels as including soft pastels\, hard pastels\, pan pastels\, oil pastels\, charcoal\, graphite\, crayons\, any pencils and stick form media. Many of us are mixed-media artists and combine pastels with other media – watercolour\, for example. \nWhen?\nOne morning and one early evening session each month\, starting on 16 January 2026. (N.B. There is no session scheduled for the first Friday in April 2026\, which is Good Friday.) You are free to choose when to attend via our booking system (up to 20 people per session due to room size): \n\n1st Friday of the month: morning – 9.30am -12 noon\n3rd Friday of the month: evening – 6pm – 8.30 pm\n\nCosts\n£6 annual membership for 2026 (£0.50 a month) and £5 per booked session. Membership will be required to attend sessions and session tickets can be booked in advance. \nEmail: malvernpastelartists@hotmail.com

SUMMARY:The Hildasholm Festival Ensemble
DESCRIPTION:Musicians\nElisabeth Zeuthen Schneider – Violin\nToke Møldrup – Cello\nDaniele Rinaldo – Piano \nThis talented trio played at Hellens in summer 2025 and the organisers are delighted to welcome them again in April 2026. \nThe first half of the programme opens with a grand Bach piece: a ‘Triosonata’ where three voices -violin\, left and right hand of keyboard – tease and baffle. \nThe Debussy cello sonata was conceived as a tribute to the baroque masters Couperin and Rameau and has a beautiful intimate atmosphere \nThe Janácek ‘Pohádka’ (Fairytale) is inspired by an epic Russian poem and rounds off the first half of the concert on a fantastic note. \nAfter the break we set sail for the Beethoven trio: The name ‘Archduke’ refers to the dedication from Rudolph of Austria\, an amateur pianist\, a friend and piano student of Beethoven. The title shadows a bit for the wonderful inspired piece\, which happened to become the last piece that Beethoven performed in public. His deafness was at this point so grave that he could not hear himself – let alone the violin and cello. Despite the intense anguish Beethoven must have felt at this time\, he composes a piece of great beauty and optimism. The programme is a tour de force – all pieces playing up to the large\, wonderful Beethoven trio that is one of Beethoven’s greatest works. \nTickets: £20 (free to full-time students and carers) – available to book via the Hellens website

SUMMARY:The Hand of Sarah Nelmes
DESCRIPTION:The Hand of Sarah Nelmes by Martin Lytton is the Three Counties Talent Hub winning play for 2026 \nThis bold\, witty\, sometimes irreverent\, time-shifting drama reclaims the forgotten story behind one of the greatest medical breakthroughs in history: Edward Jenner and the Smallpox vaccine. Moving fluidly between rural Gloucestershire in the 1790s and a world locked down by a modern pandemic\, the play weaves together past and present to ask urgent questions about science\, sacrifice\, memory and who gets written into history. \nAt its heart is the milkmaid Sarah Nelmes – observant\, curious\, and uncredited – whose courage and insight helps lay the foundations for vaccination\, while others take the fame. \nThis is the premiere of Martin Lytton’s thought-provoking play\, winner of the Three Counties Talent Hub playwriting competition 2026\, a collaboration between Malvern Theatres\, Everyman Theatre (Cheltenham) and Worcester Theatres. \nShow times\nWednesday 22 April 2026\, 7.30pm\nThursday 23 April 2026\, 2.30pm & 7.30pm

SUMMARY:Michaela Strachan: Not Just A Wild Life
DESCRIPTION:Marking four decades in the public eye – on our screens\, in the wild and sometimes out of her depth – wildlife TV legend Michaela Strachan swaps the binoculars for the spotlight in her brand-new live theatre show ‘Not Just A Wild Life’. From The Wide Awake Club\, The Hitman And Her and The Really Wild Show to Countryfile\, Springwatch and beyond\, the show laughs at the chaos of TV\, marvels at the beauty of nature and reflects on what it means to grow up – and grow older – on screen. \nIt’s a high energy\, funny and heart-warming adventure through 40 years of conservation and re-invention. If you’ve ever pondered what it’s like to be upstaged by an elephant\, wrangle the likes of Chris Packham\, or ice skate on national TV looking like Julie Andrews\, then this show is for you!
