DESCRIPTION:Folk at The Fold is a monthly folk club held in the Cart House at The Fold – beautiful half-timbered surroundings with lovely acoustics – perfect for the folk songs that you love to sing or hear among genuine folk friends. \nThese are lively\, often humorous and always varied monthly folk evenings led by Eric and Eileen Payne. \nThe club runs every 4th Saturday (except December – 3rd Saturday) of the month from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. \nThe entrance fee is £2.50\, payable on the door. DESCRIPTION:The Drunken Monkey Rock Festival\, in memory of Ian Downton\, returns for 2026 to provide three days of amazing music from over 50 bands and raise money for Midlands Air Ambulance. \nHeld on a 10-acre site off the Welland Road approximately one mile outside Upton upon Severn\, the festival features two stages and will have a fantastic line-up of bands performing over the three days.

This is their 5th community musical and follows their hugely successful and acclaimed productions in the Forum Theatre of Fiddler on the Roof (2024) and Evita (2025). \nThe final collaboration between Rodgers and Hammerstein was destined to become the world’s most beloved musical. In Austria\, 1938\, an exuberant young governess brings music and joy back to a broken family\, only to face danger and intrigue as the Nazis gain power. The inspirational story\, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp\, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp\, bringing music and joy to the household.
