DESCRIPTION:Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw\nDirected by Nic Lloyd \n\n\nProfessor Henry Higgins is an expert in phonetics but he is also arrogant and insensitive. He strikes a wager with his friend Colonel Pickering that he can transform the speech and manners of the Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle so she could pass as a duchess. \nFirst performed a century ago\, Pygmalion is full of Shaw’s characteristic wit and observation.
