DESCRIPTION:Roger McGough comes to Malvern this summer with the ‘Alive and Gigging’ tour. \nA performance poet like no other\, he is bringing his best pieces to the stage for new and old audiences alike. Aged 87\, he is a force of nature – and poetry. Is poetry the new rock’n’roll? …it always was! \nRoger has kindly given approval for Pancreatic Cancer UK to promote its work at the event. The charity aims to raise public awareness of the all-to-often lethal disease. It also raises funds for research\, treatment\, family support and nursing advice. Please support Pancreatic Cancer UK by attending the performance.
