SUMMARY:Malvern’s Secret War Heroes
DESCRIPTION:Rachel Tobin’s play is set in the Bluebird Tearooms in Malvern during World War 2\, where the locals are wondering who these ‘outsiders’ are\, arriving in trucks with strange equipment set up in the back. \nThey wear spectacles and tweed jackets and the girls look as though they are just out of school. Also\, why are they being billeted to local residents to accommodate them in their homes\, often against their wishes? \nAs the story unfolds all is eventually revealed. \nShow times\nSaturday 8 November 2025\, 5.30pm\nSaturday 8 November 2025\, 7.30pm

SUMMARY:National Theatre Live Presents Mrs. Warren's Profession
DESCRIPTION:This performance is recorded as live. \nFive-time Olivier Award winner Imelda Staunton (The Crown) stars alongside her real-life daughter Bessie Carter (Bridgerton) for the very first time\, playing mother and daughter in George Bernard Shaw’s incendiary moral classic. \nVivie Warren is a woman ahead of her time. Her mother\, on the other hand\, is a product of the old patriarchal order. Exploiting it has earned Mrs. Warren a fortune – but at what cost? \nFilmed live in the West End\, this new production from Sonia Friedman Productions reunites Staunton with director Dominic Cooke (Follies\, Good)\, examines the clash between morality and independence\, traditions and progress.

SUMMARY:U3A Showcase a selection of 'Matchbox Theatre' Scenes by Michael Frayn (FEAST)
DESCRIPTION:The Third Agers are members of the University of the Third Age Drama Group and will perform\, with script in hand\, a selection of short scenes from Michael Frayn’s ‘Matchbox Theatre’. There will be laughter\, bewilderment and reflection as the scenes examine the joys and pitfalls of being human and the complexities of how we communicate. \nDoes confusion arise when you overhear the conversations of others? Can people speak many words but also say absolutely nothing? Do patients cause illness\, and where is the jam in Waitrose? These and other questions may\, or may not\, be answered. \nPrepare to be amused by the foibles of how others talk\, but perhaps you’ll find a grain of truth about yourselves. \nEntry: Free (donations welcome)

SUMMARY:As The Snow Falls (FEAST)
DESCRIPTION:As the Snow Falls introduces us to Kenneth and Sam – two men from very different cultural backgrounds\, both abandoned by society in very different ways. Notwithstanding their differences\, they are ultimately brought together by shared grief and a love of music. \nThis powerful comedic drama examines the shifting social landscape and its impact on a frequently overlooked demographic. Through the lens of an ever-diminishing pub culture\, Kenneth and Sam’s unexpected connection arises from one man’s desperate search for meaning. \nThe play explores themes of cultural starvation\, male isolation\, suicide\, toxic masculinity\, and division through technology – ultimately questioning what happens when the arts are stripped away from the working class. \nThe play was written and is performed by Tom Messmer (DFL and America Ground The Musical) and Aidan McConville (A Single Man). \nBrightDog Theatre have proudly partnered with the men’s suicide prevention charity ANDYSMANCLUB to support people on the vital issues and themes explored in the play. \nPlease note this production contains strong language. \nTickets: £10 – available to book online at Ticketsource \nAge: 14s and under to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over

SUMMARY:Bodies of Water (FEAST)
DESCRIPTION:Bodies of Water is a one-woman work by Nicole Palomba exploring grief\, miscarriage\, womanhood\, and the sacred power of water. \nThis new piece of writing was created during an artist residency at Santa Rosa Arts and Healing in Christina Lake\, British Columbia\, Canada\, where Nicole explored the sacredness\nof water and the role of storytelling as ceremony and ritual. The result is a performance that flows between memory\, myth\, and poetry – inviting audiences into a place of reflection\, reverence\, and emotional release. \nTickets: £7 / £5 (concession) – will be available to book via the link on the FEAST website
