Greener Living Fair

Part of #MalvernEnviroWeek2019

There will be free workshops, demonstrations, talks, walks and stalls offering advice and information. Activities include:

Marketplace
A range of stalls offering advice and information on making simple and cost effective changes to help reduce our impact on the planet.

There will also be woodland craft demonstrations from Malvern Community Forest throughout the event.

Free Walk: Tree Tour (Malvern’s Marvellous Trees)
Join Mike from Malvern’s Marvellous Trees on a free tour of some of the oldest trees in Malvern, followed by a free hot drink.

Free Talk: Agro-ecology – Soil, the secret weapon in the fight against climate change?
For students of all ages, come along to this fascinating talk about agroecology – how maximising soil carbon helps to reverse climate breakdown and what you can do about it, by Jenna Higgins.

Free fair-trade hot drinks for everyone attending the talk.

FREE Rag Rug Making Workshop
A FREE 1 hour workshop teaching you the basic techniques involved with making your very own rag rug.

A £5 fully refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. Once you have signed in at the workshop, the £5 will be refunded in full.

You can book a maximum of two places per person by visiting Malvern Tourist Information Centre, located on Church Street next to the Lyttelton Well, WR14 2AY (open Mon – Sat, 10am – 5pm). CASH ONLY please. 20 places available.

Suitable for all ages but must be accompanied by an adult if under 16 years old.
