Hellens Garden Festival
Hellens Garden Festival is on the 8th and 9th June.
This Festival is about discovering all that you can do with gardening and attending to the earth and environment. We believe that you can create and grow, wherever you live, whether you have a windowsill or a field. That working with Nature, we can enhance biodiversity, learn valuable lessons and that being outdoors can improve our well being.
It celebrates the natural world and the exceptional countryside of the 3 counties and showcases the best of local gardeners, growers, artists and craftspeople, food and drink.
There is something for all the family – Children can join in with workshops and creative activities; seed bombs, making animal homes, puppetry, woodland fairy trails, forest school skills, story telling.
Be inspired by our range of talks and interactive demonstrations of traditional crafts including willow basket making, blacksmithing, spinning, plant dyed wool, weaving, coppice crafts, hedge laying, drystone walling, beekeeping and much more.
