Croome’s Easter trail is back again in 2025\, bigger and better. \nCollect your Easter activity trail sheet and bunny ear headband from the Visitor Centre for £3.50 (normal admission applies) and head out on your adventure before returning to the Visitor Centre to claim your egg – you can choose from either a chocolate egg or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg. \nPrices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet\, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From chocolate egg (see National Trust website for details). \nHere are just some of the activities: garden games\, welly-wanging\, wheelbarrow racing\, spin the wheel\, plant-a-seed activity\, and much more! \nThe trail will be sold between 10am and 4pm from Saturday 12 – Sunday 27 April 2025. Eggs must be collected before 5pm when the site closes.

This magnificent station always attracts a good deal of interest\, and in this talk Michael will share his research into the early days of the station’s life. He will explain how our famous Water Cure doctor and the formidable Lady of the Manor influenced its design and purpose in the 1860s. Michael is chairman of the Malvern Railways Group and recent research has made available much new and fascinating material. \nLectures begin at 2.30pm and admission is free to Friends of Malvern Museum or £3 for visitors. \nRefreshments are served during the meeting at a small charge.

Solve the clues hidden around the grounds to earn a delicious chocolate reward! \nYou can embark on the quest every day of the school holidays (except Mondays and Tuesdays)\, and it costs only £2 to take part. This is for each child\, for both members and non-members alike\, and it’s on top of the ticket price. DESCRIPTION:Come and join the fun at The Firs with playful Easter adventures this April. Explore the beautiful cottage gardens to find fantastic activities for the whole family. \nThis Easter\, make your way along the trail where you’ll find playful activities including egg-and-spoon races\, seed-planting and constructing a giant bird’s nest. Taking place between Saturday 12 April and Sunday 27 April 2025 from 10am to 5pm (open Friday – Monday only)\, with last entry at 4.30pm\, this special trail is a great way to keep children entertained this Easter. SUMMARY:Guided Tour of Madresfield Court
DESCRIPTION:Madresfield Court\, situated within the Madresfield Estate at the foot of the Malvern Hills\, is a moated stately home that has been in the Lygon family for over 900 years and is currently home to its 29th generation. \nThe house played a significant part in nurturing the Arts and Crafts movement and contains a fine collection of paintings\, furniture and ceramics.  It also has a rich history\, with both Edward Elgar and Evelyn Waugh being frequent visitors. \nThe house and beautiful grounds are open to welcome visitors at various times throughout the year. Access to the house and gardens is by guided tour only and tickets must be pre-booked online. \nThe Madresfield Estate also hosts several popular events throughout the year within the grounds of the Court.   \n2025 season details\nThe 2025 tour season at Madresfield Court runs from the end of April until the end of June. \nTours generally run on Wednesdays\, Thursdays and Fridays (with some exceptions). \nOn most days of operation\, four tours (one at 10.30am\, 11.30am\, 1.30pm and 2.30pm) will run\, with each tour taking a maximum of fifteen people aged 16 and over. Sadly\, the tours are not suitable for babies or children under 16 and are subject to accessibility restrictions. \nTickets are £17 per person and all visitors will have the chance to enjoy the gardens either before or after the house tour. \nNew for 2025\, refreshments can now be enjoyed in the newly refurbished Play Room. \nFor full details\, including booking terms and conditions\, to check that a tour is running on your chosen date and to book your place\, visit the Madresfield Court website. \nPhoto supplied by Madresfield Court.
