SUMMARY:Malvern Hills Literary Loop: Tolkien\, Lewis\, Darwin & Dickens
DESCRIPTION:Legendary fantasy authors JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis were frequent visitors to the Malvern Hills around the middle of the 20th century and the distinctive landscape may have inspired features of Middle Earth and Narnia\, like the Giant’s Cave from the Hobbit and the Victorian gas lamps from The Lion\, the Witch & the Wardrobe. \nA century earlier\, authors Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens visited Malvern for the Water Cure and most of the treatment centres and guest houses still remain. \nThe Malvern Hills Literary Loop starts at the Mr. Tumnus bench in Priory Park and heads up past Knotsford House where Dickens stayed to Lewis’s former school Cherbourg House before pausing at the Lewis Memorial in Rosebank Gardens and following the gas lamps up to St. Ann’s Well cafe. \nAfter admiring the views around North Hill\, the trail descends to Alexandra Rd where Lewis’s close friend & biographer George Sayers lived\, opposite the former home of composer Edward Elgar. \nThe loop then heads up past Montreal House where Darwin stayed during his daughter’s treatment and past Lewis & Tolkien’s favourite pub The Unicorn Inn before passing the Hobbit door and down to Malvern Priory to find Anne Darwin’s grave and potentially the original Narnian gas lamp. \nDates and booking\nThe walks are available on many dates\, often with the option of two start times on the same day. For more information\, including prices\, availability and to book. visit the Malvern Hills Literary Loop: Tolkien\, Lewis\, Darwin & Dickens page on Airbnb.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the world of Minecraft\, where creativity doesn’t just help you craft\, it’s required for survival! Four misfits — Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Momoa)\, Henry (Hansen)\, Natalie (Myers) and Dawn (Brooks) — find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are abruptly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre\, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. In order to make their way back home\, they’ll have to master this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies\, too) while setting out on a magical quest with an unexpected\, expert crafter\, Steve (Black). Together\, their adventure in the Overworld will challenge all five to show boldness and to reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative…the very skills they need to thrive back in the real world.

SUMMARY:Six The Musical Live! (12A) (Filmed at London’s Vaudeville Theatre and on the Regal Screen!)
DESCRIPTION:Filmed at London’s Vaudeville Theatre\, Six the Musical Live! features the six original West End queens – Jarnéia Richard-Noel\, Millie O’Connell\, Natalie Paris\, Alexia McIntosh\, Aimie Atkinson and Maiya Quansah-Breed – each reprising their roles for a one-off\, show-stopping cinematic experience. \nSeen by a combined audience of over 3.5 million\, the box office smash-hit and double TONY award-winning Six the Musical has reigned supreme as a global theatre phenomenon since its debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe eight years ago. With 5-star reviews from the Telegraph\, Express\, Sunday Mirror\, Evening Standard and more\, the electrifying show follows the long-misunderstood wives of Henry VIII as they strut out of the shadow of their infamous husband to reclaim their narrative and finally tell their stories in their own words – with lots of royally good fun along the way. \nWritten by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss\, this musical for the ages sees the six queens – Catherine of Aragon (Richard-Noel)\, Anne Boleyn (O’Connell)\, Jane Seymour (Paris)\, Anna of Cleves (McIntosh)\, Katherine Howard (Atkinson) and Catherine Parr (Quansah-Breed) – take back the microphone in a succession of infectious\, empowering performances. The queens are joined on stage by the sensational band\, the Ladies in Waiting. \nThis show is recommended for age 10 and above.
