Access to the house and gardens is by guided tour only and tickets must be pre-booked online. \nThe Madresfield Estate also hosts several popular events throughout the year within the grounds of the Court. \n2026 season details\nThe 2026 tour season at Madresfield Court runs from 22 April until 27 June\, plus 29 July – 1 August inclusive. \nTours generally run on Wednesdays\, Thursdays and Fridays (with some exceptions and the occasional Saturday). \nOn each open day\, four tours will run\, with each tour taking a maximum of fifteen people aged 16 and over. DESCRIPTION:A walk through Croome Park reveals the way in which RAF Defford changed the 18th century landscape created by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Along the way\, there are tales of an extraordinary airfield waiting to be told. \nThis secret airbase was where Radar was installed in the aircraft of the Telecommunications Research Establishment (TRE) and tested and developed to help win the Second World War.
