On the south lawn\, get active with a whole host of lawn and fairground games\, create theatrical performances on the stage\, and take part in some of the free workshops that will be running throughout the summer. These workshops will have a new theme each week\, with activities including dancing\, pond dipping\, critter crafts\, and orienteering! \nThe fun isn’t restricted to the outdoors\, as there will also be plenty of activities to get involved with inside the house\, including giant snakes and ladders\, giant chess\, and more activities in the basement. \nCome along to Croome for a summer of discovery and adventure\, where there will be new opportunities for the whole family to play every day. DESCRIPTION:Who are we?\nMalvern Pastel Artists is a new community art group starting in 2026 meeting fortnightly. We would like to welcome other local pastel artists to create in a relaxed social space. The group is not a tutored class. Open to all abilities\, beginners are welcome to join. There will be some beginner-friendly art materials available for those new to pastels. \nWhat do we mean by pastels?\nWhat we love about pastels is that it’s drawing and painting combined in one – with intense colours closer to the raw pigment than other media. We define pastels as including soft pastels\, hard pastels\, pan pastels\, oil pastels\, charcoal\, graphite\, crayons\, any pencils and stick form media. Many of us are mixed-media artists and combine pastels with other media – watercolour\, for example. \nWhen?\nOne morning and one early evening session each month\, starting on 16 January 2026. (N.B. There is no session scheduled for the first Friday in April 2026\, which is Good Friday.) You are free to choose when to attend via our booking system (up to 20 people per session due to room size): \n\n1st Friday of the month: morning – 9.30am -12 noon\n3rd Friday of the month: evening – 6pm – 8.30 pm\n\nCosts\n£6 annual membership for 2026 (£0.50 a month) and £5 per booked session.
