DESCRIPTION:Part of Little Malvern Priory’s celebration year festivities \nThe grand finale is a performance featuring the 875 Celebration Choir\, professional soloists and a full orchestra\, conducted by Alison Hunka. \nHandel’s Messiah\, composed in 1741\, is one of the most iconic oratorios in Western classical music. Originally written for solo voices\, choir\, and orchestra\, it tells the story of Christ’s life\, from prophecy and birth to crucifixion and resurrection. DESCRIPTION:John Otway is an English singer-songwriter who has built a sizeable cult audience thanks to his extensive touring\, a surreal sense of humour and a self-deprecating underdog persona. \nIn 2016\, Otway announced that he was intending to record a new album. After a successful Kickstarter campaign\, he took his band to the Caribbean island of Montserrat and became the first international recording artist to record there since the Rolling Stones in 1989. The result was Montserrat – the first album of entirely new and original Otway material in over ten years.
