DESCRIPTION:Hellensmusic\, held in the Great Barn at Hellens as well as the local church and pub in the village of Much Marcle\, is a classical music festival that strives to bring the finest music-making to the heart of rural Herefordshire and to create an environment where all – concertgoers\, local schoolchildren\, aspiring musicians\, world-class artists – are warmly encouraged to explore\, be curious and enjoy music to the fullest! \nThis year’s festival runs from 6 – 10 May and\, as in previous years\, the organisers’ dream is to bring you world music with soloists you have known in the past\, and wonderful new artists\, with a great bunch of gifted students from all over the place to show and share how it is done\, and what it takes! \nPlease note that although the location is listed on this page as Hellens and most events do take place there\, some are at St Bartholomew’s Church or The Walwyn Arms. \nFor more information\, full programme (when available) and booking\, visit the Hellensmusic website.

DESCRIPTION:Malvern Town Council’s annual Music in the Park programme begins on Sunday 10 May 2026\, with concerts due to take place every Sunday at 2.30pm until 13 September in Priory Park. DESCRIPTION:Formed in 1969\, Steeleye Span altered the face of folk music forever by taking it into the world of gold discs and international tours. Now they are back with Conflict\, their first full studio album in over five years. \nAll traditional singers have sung modern and self-composed pieces alongside old songs\, and Conflict is an album that follows in that very tradition. The album’s title was chosen partly to reflect the times we find ourselves in\, but also the stretch and tear of our relationship with this planet that hosts us. As always – and with such a rich back-catalogue to select from – the night will offer a range of songs from across the years and firm fan favourites.
