It also has a rich history\, with both Edward Elgar and Evelyn Waugh having been frequent visitors. \nThe house and beautiful grounds are open to welcome visitors at various times throughout the year. Access to the house and gardens is by guided tour only and tickets must be pre-booked online. \nThe Madresfield Estate also hosts several popular events throughout the year within the grounds of the Court. \n2026 season details\nThe 2026 tour season at Madresfield Court runs from 22 April until 27 June\, plus 29 July – 1 August inclusive. \nTours generally run on Wednesdays\, Thursdays and Fridays (with some exceptions and the occasional Saturday). \nOn each open day\, four tours will run\, with each tour taking a maximum of fifteen people aged 16 and over. It also has a rich history\, with both Edward Elgar and Evelyn Waugh having been frequent visitors. \nThe house and beautiful grounds are open to welcome visitors at various times throughout the year. Access to the house and gardens is by guided tour only and tickets must be pre-booked online. \nThe Madresfield Estate also hosts several popular events throughout the year within the grounds of the Court. \n2026 season details\nThe 2026 tour season at Madresfield Court runs from 22 April until 27 June\, plus 29 July – 1 August inclusive. \nTours generally run on Wednesdays\, Thursdays and Fridays (with some exceptions and the occasional Saturday). \nOn each open day\, four tours will run\, with each tour taking a maximum of fifteen people aged 16 and over. Choose from three routes – either 2 miles\, 5 miles\, or 11 miles – and enjoy a refreshing day on the stunning Malvern Hills. \nThe 2-mile and 5-mile circular walks\, starting at 10am from the Black Hill car park\, are ideal for families. The 11-mile route begins at 8.30am\, trekking the full length of the hills from Chase End. Registration for this route opens at 7.20am at North Quarry Car Park (WR14 4LX)\, with a coach leaving at 8am to take you to the start. \nHospice fundraiser Alison Parkes shared\, “The Malvern Hills Walk is a core part of St Richard’s\, raising vital funds over the years to support our free care.
