We define pastels as including soft pastels\, hard pastels\, pan pastels\, oil pastels\, charcoal\, graphite\, crayons\, any pencils and stick form media. Many of us are mixed-media artists and combine pastels with other media – watercolour\, for example. \nWhen?\nOne morning and one early evening session each month\, starting on 16 January 2026. (N.B. There is no session scheduled for the first Friday in April 2026\, which is Good Friday.) DESCRIPTION:Please note: this event was originally scheduled for 6 March\, but will now take place on 1 May 2025 \nMalvern Town Council has organised a number of charity talks and tours in aid of Heartstart Malvern. \nJoin us for our first charity lunchtime talk on 1 May 2025 between 12.30pm and 1.30pm with the Malvern Spa Association looking into Malvern water. \nCome and enjoy “Malvern Water: One Billion Years”\, focusing on the natural and cultural history of Malvern spring water and its influence on the evolution of the town. The talk will be presented by Carly Tinker CMLI FRSA\, MSA\, who is the co-founder and president of the Malvern Spa Association. \nThe talk will be held at the Park View Community Room at the Community Hub\, Victoria Park\, Malvern Link and will consist of a 30-minute talk followed by a 20-minute Q&A session with the speaker. \nParticipants are welcome to bring lunch with them. \nThe talk costs £5 per person with all the money raised going to Heartstart Malvern. Tickets can be booked at Malvern Town Council website.
